FEE POLICY  

We are committed to providing a clear and transparent financial policy for our students and their families. Below, you will find detailed information regarding our fee payment obligations, refund policies, and conditions for both new and returning students. These policies cover a range of situations, including visa-related issues, program withdrawal timings, and course management after enrolment. Our aim is to ensure that all parties are fully informed about their financial responsibilities and the conditions under which refunds may or may not be granted, helping to facilitate a smooth and straightforward administrative experience for everyone involved.

  • New students admitted to Heritage Innovation School and returning students are required to pay all fees in advance as per the Fee Invoice and agreed Payment Option. The obligation to pay all fees is unconditional.

    • Visa Approval: When a student has acquired a Student Visa or Study Permit approval from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), no refund of fees paid will be granted.

    • Visa or Permit Refusal: student will receive refund in the event of a Student Visa or Study Permit refusal other than the reason of missing documents or incomplete application with submitting the following documentation within thirty (30) days from the issue date of the original refusal letter from IRCC:

      a) A refund request form signed by the parent(s) or student (who is over 18 years of age).

      b) A copy of the original letter of refusal issued by IRCC.

      c) A Consent for an Access to Information and Personal Information Request (imm5744) form with blue ink signed by the applicant.

    NOTE: No refund of fees paid will be granted if the student fails to submit any of the above-supporting documents within thirty (30) days from the issue date of the original refusal letter from IRCC.

    An administration fee of $750, a non-refundable application fee of $350, and a Notarized Custodian Declaration Fee of $350 (if paid) will be deducted from each refund request.

    • When a returning student who has a valid Student Visa or Study Permit which is valid less than a year and uses Enrolment Letter issued by Heritage Innovation School to renew his or her Student Visa or Study Permit, any fees paid are not refundable, unless the Student Visa or Study Permit application was refused other than the reason of missing documents or incomplete application with submitting the following documentation within thirty (30) days from the issue date of the original refusal letter from IRCC:

      a) A refund request form signed by the parent(s) or student (who is over 18 years of age).

      b) A copy of the original letter of refusal issued by IRCC.

      c) A Consent for an Access to Information and Personal Information Request (imm5744) form with blue ink signed by the applicant.

    NOTE: No refund of fees paid will be granted if the student fails to submit any of the above-supporting documents within thirty (30) days from the issue date of the original refusal letter from IRCC.

    • When a student is a refused Student Visa or Study Permit due to missing documents or incomplete application, no refund of fees paid will be granted.

    • When a student has been admitted to Heritage Innovation School who does not require a Student Visa or Study Permit or is a returning student who has a valid Student Visa or Study Permit which is valid for more than a year and did not use an Enrollment Letter issued by Heritage Innovation School to renew his or her Student Visa or Study Permit and:

      a) withdraws the admittance at least three (3) months prior to the admitted month, fees paid will be refundable less than the administrative fee of $750, the application fee of $350, and the Notarized Custodianship Declaration Fee of $350 (if paid).

      b) Withdraws the admittance less than three (3) months before the admitted month, fees paid will be refundable less than the administrative fee of $750, the application fee of $350, and the Notarized Custodianship Declaration Fee of $350 (if paid), and 50% of tuition fees.

      c) Withdraws at any time after the start of the admitted month, the parents or guardians or student are liable for payment of all fees and no refund of fees paid will be granted.

    • When a student has started online or in-person program on or after the admitted month of the program as prescribed in the Heritage Innovation School Letter of Acceptance, no refund of fees paid will be granted.

    • When a student does not arrive before or on the admitted month of the program as prescribed in the Heritage Innovation School Letter of Acceptance, no refund of fees paid will be granted.

    • When a student withdraws the committed program for any reason after a Heritage Innovation School Letter of Acceptance is issued, no refund of fees paid will be granted.

    • 0If a student is removed by Heritage Innovation School as a result of disciplinary action or the student withdraws or the student is absent from Heritage Innovation School for any reason, the parents or guardians or student are liable for payment of the full tuition and accommodation fees. The obligation to pay all fees is unconditional and no refund of fees paid will be granted.

    • If a student provided false medical information or pertinent medical conditions are not disclosed, no refund of fees paid will be granted.

    • Students who require additional courses beyond the initial payment or wish to upgrade or retake a course are required to pay the additional tuition fee in advance.

    • Where a student drops a course after the start of the admitted month, no refund of fees paid will be granted. There will be no academic penalty if the course is dropped before the midterm test with the Principal’s approval. The course drop procedure must be completed by the student and approved by the Principal.
