Heritage International School
HIS online courses continue to be instructed by HIS teachers with the additional use of Ontario’s Virtual Learning Environment. Through many web-based collaborative tools, teachers can interact with students both synchronously (real-time) and asynchronous (pre-recorded, discussions, etc.) conveniently any time of the weekdays. To deliver the curriculum, lessons will be expected to do a minimum of 4 to 6 hours of learning each day.
Students engage in course activities at any time, contributing at their own pace.
Students engage in course activities at a specific data/time, requiring that everyone be online for a scheduled event.
