Visual Arts

The Visual Arts program seeks to develop students’ artistic skills and abilities. The course uses theory with practice in an engaging and stimulating manner designed to make Visual Arts fun and rewarding.

Drama

Digital Media

Visual Arts

Theater is unique in its way to tell a story through examples. Students will learn the art of theater as it retells stories of communities and personal analysis, understanding and human nature.

HIS drama program develops creative thinking and communication with the result of the collaborative heavy work to produce performance. Each role given to students is different in both on and off stage. Students with theatre-management roles will provide opportunities to produce captivating work in a professional equipped environment.

Choir

Digital Media

Digital Media

In the beginning stages of choir, younger students will be naturally introduced to the ability to read and understand music. As they get older, the curriculum will focus on developing individual voices towards choral blending and balance. In addition to fundamental musical theories, they will be given tasks in sight-reading and will work together as groups to perform in chapel services and further challenge their skills to perform for bigger audiences. Aligned with our core values, choral repertoire include sacred, popular, gospel, spirituals, and classical styles

Digital Media

Digital Media

Digital Media

There are many ways technology can be used in artistic forms. Skills like film, design, and photography proves this by using a digital approach that encourages a new way of working with hands-on and digital forms of expressions.

HIS digital media programs use these means to cultivate a variety of skills that will open many doors in which it may be used and aid other types of artistic expressions. For instance, photography will be given freedom outside the school and will be provided with the necessary tools to cultivate their skills like screen printing, dark room, green screen, television broadcasts, and high-level editing rooms.

In addition, similarly like other subjects in art, photography students will be given the opportunity to exhibit their pieces through galleries and year-round walls. Through individual and creative leadership occasions.
